Your gynecology, pregnancy, and health concerns are our highest priority! We offer many services to ensure quality care for your healthcare needs.

East Georgia Women’s Center (ob/gyn) provides a broad range of patient services designed to improve the individual quality of life for women under our care. 

  • Evaluation of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding – For problems with heavy bleeding or irregular menstrual cycles.
  • Annual Well Women Exams – Also known as your annual physical, during this recommended exam, a pap smear, pelvic and breast exam will be preformed, as well as necessary bloodwork.
  • HPV Testing – Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a genital virus that can lead to cervical cancer; diagnosis and treatment are very important.
  • Birth Control – We offer many different options for contraception, including pills, intrauterine devices, shots, as well as permanent procedures
  • Diagnosis and Management of Urinary Incontinence – For problems with urinary leakage.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment of Fibroids – Fibroids are painful tumors that are mostly benign and can grow on the ovaries or uterus; there are a few treatment options available.
  • BRACA – Genetic Testing (familial cancers and diseases).
  • Management of Menopausal Issues and Hormone Replacement
  • Pelvic Ultrasound – We provide pelvic ultrasounds, which can help determine causes of pelvic pain, through viewing the condition of the ovaries and uterus.
  • Infertility Counseling – For patients struggling to conceive.
  • Weight Management – We offer consultations for patients seeking to lose weight by providing prescription medication.

  • Colpo / LEEP – The colposcopy procedure is designed to diagnose pre-cancerous conditions of the cervix, whereas the LEEP procedure is designed to remove abnormal cells, in order to prevent cervical cancer.
  • TVH – Transvaginal hysterectomy is a minimimally invasive surgery designed to remove the uterus via the vagina and offers a short recovery time.
  • TAH / BSO – Is an abdominal hysterectomy designed to remove the uterus and ovaries via an opening in the abdomen.
  • LAVH / BSO – Is a laparoscopic hysterectomy designed to remove the uterus and ovaries via 3 small openings in the abdomen, this surgery is also minimally invasive and offers a short recovery time.
  • Laser Laparoscopy – A laparoscopic, minimally invasive procedure designed to diagnose and treat endometriosis.
  • Hysteroscopy with Dilation and Curettage – A minimally invasive procedure designed to treat heavy bleeding.
  • Myomectomy – A procedure designed to remove fibroids through an opening in the abdomen.
  • TOT – Also known as a bladder tack is a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat urinary incontinence.
  • Anterior and Posterior Repair – A minimally invasive procedure designed to treat and repair vaginal prolapse.
  • LTL – A minimally invasive laparoscopic sterilization in which tubes are tied.
  • Total Pregnancy Care – We provide complete care for a woman during her pregnancy. This includes all necessary labwork, check-ups and ultrasounds, as well as care, treatment, or referral for any other health concern that may arise during the pregnancy.
  • 3D and 4D Ultrasounds – These are high definition ultrasounds provided toward the end of the pregnancy FREE of charge.
  • Keepsake CD – We have CDs available for purchase for $1.00. These CDs allow all of your ultrasounds to be recorded and saved.
  • Congratulatory OB Packet – This packet includes a cloth drawstring bag with the East Georgia Women’s Center logo, full of information about your pregnancy. We provide a copy of “What to Expect When Your Expecting,” common questions brochures, magazines, money-saving coupons, a magnet, medication lists, ultrasound schedule, hospital delivery information and much more!
